Congratulations to Able Flight’s class of 2023
Oshkosh, WI— Seven aviators with physical disabilities that completed the Able Flight training experience were honored at EAA AirVenture 2023 and No Limits Endeavors was proud to attend to help celebrate these pilots. Tyler Cernik, Bobby Dove, Melvin Du, Andrew Kurka, Dijon McCorkle and William Scheremet earned their sport pilot’s licenses after receiving scholarships to attend the Able Flight program. Leslie Irby previously earned her sport pilot's license and was celebrated for earning her private pilot license. Congratulations to these pilots!
EAA is an international general aviation organization and AirVenture is its annual airshow, which is the largest gathering of aviators and aviation enthusiasts in the world. In 2023, there are 677,000 attendees, topping the 2022 record of 650,000.
Able Flight is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that offers a limited number of scholarships to attend its annual flight training experience where individuals with physical disabilities can earn their sport pilot license.
